LE CEPE DE BORDEAUX, individuality, wild, harmony

The Bordeaux cep, unlike other mushrooms, does not grow in clusters. It rises solitarily from the top of its broad stem. However, like its relatives, it contributes greatly to the harmony of European forests. Many people have tried to cultivate it, without success. It remains wild and is harvested like a treasure.

Acrylic paint + protective varnish on birch wood. Unique piece, hand-painted.

Dimensions: approximately 10 cm high, 9 cm wide, 2 cm deep. Metal hook on the back.

These pieces are made exclusively from recycled wood that I find during my wanderings in the forest. I search for them, shape them as desired, and sand them myself.
