Fern Talisman, strength, resilience, protection

The fern is one of the first plants to appear on Earth. It is THE plant we regularly encounter in the undergrowth. It is capable of capturing the light necessary for its growth in a dark and shaded environment. And even when it appears dead, it is capable of being reborn. In the Middle Ages, it was used as a means of protection. Cut during the night of St. John, it protected against malevolent spirits.

Dimensions: approximately 9.5 cm high, 8.5 cm wide, 2 cm deep. Metal hook on the back.

These pieces are made exclusively from recycled wood that I find during my wanderings in the forest. I search for them, shape them as desired, and sand them myself.
